How do I connect my Android device to Google Fit?

New Account

If you’ve just signed up for Noom, you’ll need to complete a few initial steps before connecting your device to Google Fit. Your step/exercise option will be available after Day 6 in the app. Then, you can follow the steps below for an existing account to connect. After connecting, just make sure to give Google Fit permission to sync with your data if asked, and you’ll be set!

Existing Account

You can sync Google Fit to Noom by enabling it in options first. To do that

  1. Open Noom and tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Apps & Devices
  4. Tap Google Fit
  5. This will open up a new window where you can sign in to your chosen Google account linked to Google Fit.
  6. Exit the Noom app and open the Google Fit app on your device. Make sure you’re signed into the same Google account on the Google Fit app as the one you selected in the Noom app.

If Google Fit isn’t listed as a step source, please reach out to Noom Support and send us a screenshot of the step sources that you do have listed.
