Water Tracking

Ensuring that you’re drinking water is important for your physical and mental health, as well as your productivity. The water tracker is a feature within the Noom app that helps you keep track of your water intake throughout the day.

Logging Water Intake

There are 2 ways to log your water intake depending on whether or not you have the Water task card pinned to your home screen. 

Water Task Card Pinned to the Home Screen

To log your water intake: 

  1. Open the Noom app and tap the Water task card on the home screen.
  2. Tap the + symbol on a glass of water for every glass of water you drink for the day and you’ll see the water glass fill up. 
  3. If you accidentally log extra water, just tap on the image of each glass of water you need to remove and you’ll see the water glass empty.  
  4. When you meet your water intake goal for the day, additional water glasses will appear so you can continue to log any additional water intake for that day. 
  5. Tap Done to save your changes.

Water Task Card Not Pinned to the Home Screen

To log your water intake: 

  1. Open the Noom app and tap Track More Habits on the home screen.
  2. Tap Water
  3. Tap the + symbol on a glass of water for every glass of water you drink for the day and you’ll see the water glass fill up. 
  4. If you accidentally log extra water, just tap on the image of each glass of water you need to remove and you’ll see the water glass empty.  
  5. When you meet your water intake goal for the day, additional water glasses will appear so you can continue to log any additional water intake for that day. 
  6. Tap Done to save your changes. 

How to Change Water Intake Goal

To change your water intake goal: 

  1. Open the Noom app and tap the Water task card on the home screen if the Water task card is pinned to the home screen or Track More Habits and then Water if the Water task card isn’t pinned to the home screen.
  2. Tap Edit Water Goal
  3. Slide your finger across the ruler to adjust your water goal (measured in 8 fl oz/250 mL glasses). 
  4. Tap Save.

How to Toggle Water Tracking Off/On

To turn off your water goal and remove the water tracker from your home screen:

  1. Open the Noom app and tap the Water task card on the home screen if the Water task card is pinned to the home screen or Track More Habits and then Water if the Water task card isn’t pinned to the home screen. 
  2. Tap Edit Water Goal
  3. Tap OFF on the toggle button at the top of the screen to turn off the water tracking feature. 
  4. Tap Save.

If you decide you’d like to turn your water goal back on:

  1. Open the Noom app and tap Track More Habits on the home screen.
  2. Tap Log Water
  3. Tap ON on the toggle button at the top of the screen to turn on the water tracking feature.
  4. Slide your finger across the ruler to adjust your water goal (measured in 8 fl oz/250 mL glasses). 
  5. Tap Save.
