What if I want to log a food that isn’t in your database?

We try to keep our food database as thorough and up-to-date as possible, but sometimes there are certain name brands or foods that we don’t have yet. With our suggestion feature, you can suggest food(s) to add to the database.

If your search returns no results, you can get started by selecting Can’t find it? Let’s add it! After adding the calories associated with the food you ate, select Log to add more details. You can add details like the brand name and macronutrients of the food, so we can provide you with a more precise database. Your new entry will get passed along to our food database team for review — but please keep in mind that it won’t be immediately added to our database.
