Eligible Noom Med members can switch programs directly in the app.
How to switch:
- Go to your ‘Today‘ tab
- Tap ‘Your Prescription‘
- Tap ‘Request a medication change’
If you don’t see the option to request a medication change, or don’t see the program you’d like to switch to, please reach out to support@noom.com.
When you switch:
- You’ll receive a prorated refund for your current plan, if applicable
- You’ll complete a new intake for your updated medication
- Your in-app progress stays with you — no need to start over
FAQs
Will I lose my progress when I switch to a different Med Program?
No. You’ll still have access to all the progress you’ve made and can continue right where you left off.
Will I be charged twice when I switch to a different Med Program?
No. When you switch to a new program, your previous plan is canceled. You’ll automatically receive a partial refund for the unused portion of your prior program, so you won’t be charged twice. Please allow 2 to 5 business days for the refund to appear on your original payment method.
Why don’t I see the option to switch to a different Med Program? / I don’t see the medication I’d like to switch to.
Not all programs are available through the in-app product switching feature. If you don’t see the medication program you’d like to switch to, please contact our Support team at support@noom.com.
Why didn’t I receive a larger refund? / I don’t want to use any of the prior medication, can I get that refunded?
When you switched programs, you may have received a partial refund for the remainder of your previous plan. However, prescription medications that have already shipped or are in process at the time of the program switch cannot be refunded.
Do I start a new trial when I switch to a different Med Program?
It depends on whether you’re currently in the trial or the subscription phase of your program. If you switch during your trial, you’ll begin a new trial for the Noom Med Program you switch to. If you switch during your subscription, you’ll start a new subscription for the Noom Med Program you choose and receive a partial refund for the unused portion of your previous program.
