Zepbound® coupon: How it works and how much you can save

What you’ll learn:

  • The Zepbound® coupon can lower out-of-pocket costs for eligible people with commercial insurance, sometimes bringing the monthly prescription cost down to as little as $25.
  • How much you save with a Zepbound® coupon depends on your insurance coverage, plan benefits, and whether your prescription is approved or covered by your insurer.
  • The Zepbound® savings card has eligibility rules, and it can’t be used by people enrolled in government-funded insurance programs like Medicare, Medicaid, or TRICARE.

For many people considering Zepbound®, the first questions are usually about how it works, how much weight they may lose, and what side effects they might notice. But once a provider writes the prescription, cost often becomes one of the biggest factors. Without insurance, Zepbound® has a retail price of over $1,000 per month, which can make long-term treatment feel difficult to manage.

That’s where a Zepbound® coupon or savings option helps. The Zepbound® savings coupon or card is a manufacturer discount offer that you combine with your commercial insurance coverage. The amount you pay depends on how much of the prescription cost your plan covers.

Here’s what to know about Zepbound® coupons, who may qualify, how the savings card works, and other ways to make treatment more affordable if you don’t have insurance coverage.

How do you qualify for the Zepbound® coupon?

You can use the Zepbound® coupon only if you meet the savings card requirements. To qualify, you need a valid Zepbound® prescription and commercial insurance that covers Zepbound®.

For eligible people with commercial insurance, the savings card may lower the cost to as little as $25, but how much you pay out of pocket will depend on your insurance plan.

What you’ll pay with the Zepbound® coupon

Lilly’s Zepbound® savings card can help reduce your monthly cost if you have eligible commercial insurance. If your plan covers Zepbound®, you may pay as little as $25 per month, but not everyone will qualify for the lowest price.

Even when Zepbound® is covered, out-of-pocket costs can vary. Depending on your insurance plan, you may have a higher copay, pay coinsurance, or need to meet your deductible before your costs go down.

Your pharmacy will first process your commercial insurance. The Zepbound® Savings Card is then applied to your remaining out-of-pocket cost, subject to the program’s terms and savings limits. That’s why two people with insurance may pay different amounts for the same prescription.

The examples below show how the savings card may apply in different situations.

How can I use the Zepbound® coupon?

Check if you qualify: Review the savings card rules to make sure your insurance type and personal details meet the requirements.

  • Step 1: Enroll in the savings offer. Sign up for the savings card: Complete the registration through the official Zepbound® savings program.
  • Step 2: Save your card information: You may receive a digital card, a printable card, or card details that your pharmacy can use.
  • Step 3: Bring it to the pharmacy: Show the savings card when you fill your Zepbound® prescription. The pharmacist will usually process your insurance first, then apply the savings card if you qualify.
  • Step 4: Confirm the final price before paying: Ask the pharmacist what your out-of-pocket cost will be after insurance and the savings card are applied.
  • Step 5: Use it for refills if allowed: You may be able to use the card again for future fills, as long as you still meet the program rules and have not reached any savings limits.

A few other rules worth knowing:

  • The card isn’t insurance: It only helps reduce eligible out-of-pocket costs after your pharmacy processes your coverage.
  • There are savings limits: For commercially insured people whose plan covers Zepbound® single-dose pens, savings is limited to $100 for a 1-month fill, $200 for a 2-month fill, or $300 for a 3-month fill, with a separate annual maximum of up to $1,300 per calendar year.
  • There is a yearly fill limit: The card can be used for up to 13 prescription fills per calendar year for Zepbound® single-dose pens.
  • A “month” has a specific meaning: For Zepbound® single-dose pens, 1 month is defined as 28 days and up to 4 pens.
  • You have to meet the rules each time you use it: Eligibility isn’t just checked once. People must meet the card eligibility criteria and terms every time the card is used.
  • You can’t combine it with other discounts: The card savings can’t be combined with another program, discount card, coupon, incentive, or similar offer involving Zepbound®.
  • The program can change: Lilly can change, end, or amend the card terms, and the current savings card expires on December 31, 2026.

How much will you save in a year with the Zepbound® coupon?

For eligible people with commercial insurance that covers Zepbound®, the maximum yearly savings is up to $1,300 per calendar year. Your actual savings depends on your plan’s coverage, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and how the savings card is applied at the pharmacy.

Can you use the Zepbound® coupon with no insurance?

The standard Zepbound® Savings Card isn’t available if you don’t have commercial insurance. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have to pay full retail price.

If you’re paying out of pocket, LillyDirect offers separate self-pay pricing for eligible people. Unlike the savings card, which lowers your insurance copay, these programs provide a discounted cash price when you don’t have insurance coverage for Zepbound®.

It’s also important to know that these self-pay options don’t apply to every version of Zepbound®. Lilly’s cash-pay program is available for the Zepbound® vial and Zepbound® KwikPen, but not for the single-dose autoinjector pens typically dispensed through retail pharmacies. If you prefer the single-dose pen, you’ll generally pay your pharmacy’s cash price unless you have insurance coverage or qualify for another offer.

Because Lilly periodically updates its pricing and available products, it’s worth checking the latest self-pay options before filling your prescription. Here’s what each dose currently costs:

DoseMonthly cost
2.5 mg$299
5 mg$399
7.5 mg$449*
10 mg, 12.5 mg, or 15 mg$449*

*The $449 purchase offer for 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, and 15 mg applies to the first purchase, and to stay eligible for that offer on refills, the refill must be completed within 45 days of the previous delivery or received date. If it isn’t, the price becomes $529.

FAQs about the Zepbound® coupon and savings card

Who is eligible for the Zepbound® savings coupon?

You may be eligible for the Zepbound® savings coupon if you have commercial or private insurance and a valid prescription for Zepbound®. People with government or state insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, or VA coverage, aren’t eligible for the manufacturer savings card. Eligibility also depends on the program’s terms, so review the savings card rules before using it at the pharmacy.

How much does the Zepbound® card save me?

The Zepbound® savings card can lower the price to as little as $25. The card has a $100 savings limit per month with an annual savings of $1,300 per year. It can be used for up to 13 prescription fills per year, and the current card expires on December 31, 2026.

What it saves you depends on how much of the Zepbound® cost your insurance covers.

Can I stack Zepbound® coupons with other discounts?

You can’t use the Zepbound® savings card with other manufacturer coupons, discount cards, or savings programs for the same prescription. In most cases, the pharmacy will apply either your insurance and the Zepbound® savings card or another discount option, depending on what you qualify for and which option gives you the better price. Your pharmacist can help confirm which savings option applies before you pay.

How can I get Zepbound® for $25 a month?

You may be able to get Zepbound® for as little as $25 if you have commercial insurance that covers Zepbound® and meet the savings card rules. Your pharmacy runs your insurance first, then applies the savings card to lower your remaining cost if you qualify.

Is Zepbound® covered by Medicare?

In some cases, yes.

Medicare coverage for Zepbound® can depend on your plan, diagnosis, and the reason the medication is prescribed. Medicare Part D might cover Zepbound® for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Coverage for weight management has historically been limited, but the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program, which launched on July 1, 2026, gives eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries access to the Zepbound® KwikPen® for weight management with a $50 copay through December 31, 2027. Here’s how to see if you qualify.

Reviews from real Noom users

The bottom line: The Zepbound® savings coupon is for people with commercial insurance and savings vary

If you have eligible commercial insurance, the Zepbound® savings offer may significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost. Your final price depends on how your insurance covers Zepbound®, whether you have a copay, coinsurance, or deductible, and the savings card’s program limits. Some people pay as low as $25 per month with the card.

If you don’t have commercial insurance or your plan doesn’t cover Zepbound®, you can get Zepbound® vials or the Kwikpen® for less through LillyDirect.
