What is Oxytocin Peptide?
Oxytocin is a naturally occurring peptide produced in the hypothalamus and released by the pituitary gland. It plays a role in social connection, emotional regulation, and your body’s response to stress.
Compounded oxytocin ODT (orally disintegrating tablet) may help support stress relief, mood, and sleep as part of a broader wellness routine.
How does it work?
Dosing is simple: 1 tablet per day.
Note: There’s no in-app medication tracker for Oxytocin Peptide at this time.
Who is eligible?
Not everyone is eligible. Oxytocin Peptide isn’t available for members on a Telehealth for Branded Meds or Noom + HRT Rx subscription, or for members of a sponsored Noom program.
How to purchase Oxytocin Peptide:
Oxytocin Peptide is available as a standalone program or as an add-on to any Noom Free, Weight, Premium, or Med subscription. To purchase:
- Open the Care Tab from the bottom navigation bar
- Scroll to the “Improve whole-body health” section to find Oxytocin Peptide (if you don’t see it, you may not be eligible).
- Complete the purchase and the medical intake, accessible from either the Today tab or the Care tab.
- Your clinician reviews your intake and, if you’re eligible, sends your prescription to the pharmacy.
- Your medication ships within 3–5 business days. The first refill ships 4 weeks after the initial trial month and then every 12 weeks thereafter.
- Take 1 tablet every day. Place it under your tongue and allow it to dissolve. Do not crush, chew or swallow the tablet, as this can reduce effectiveness.
- After your initial renewal, you’ll complete a refill check-in every 12 weeks, alongside your subscription renewal.
FAQs
Can Oxytocin peptide be used alongside a GLP-1 medication?
Yes, Oxytocin Peptide can be prescribed alongside your GLP-1 medication. Your Noom clinician will review everything you take, including your GLP-1, to make sure your overall plan is safe and appropriate for you.
Do I get a coach with Oxytocin Peptide?
Not on its own — Oxytocin Peptide by itself doesn’t include 1:1 coaching. You’ll get coaching only if you’re also on another Noom subscription that includes it, like Noom Premium or Noom Med. If your only subscription is Oxytocin Peptide, you won’t have a coach, but you’ll still have access to your Care Coordination Team and clinician chat.
Why can’t I see Oxytocin Peptide in the Care tab?
If Oxytocin Peptide isn’t showing up under “Improve whole-body health” in your Care Tab, it likely means you’re not currently eligible. A few common reasons:
- Program type: It’s not available to members on a Telehealth for Branded Meds or Noom + HRT Rx subscription, or for members of a sponsored Noom program.
- Health history: Certain health conditions can also affect eligibility.
Does updating my address affect all my shipments?
Yes — updating your shipping address applies to all of your active orders, not just one. If you only want to change it temporarily for a single shipment, remember to update it back afterward.
Why am I seeing multiple different charges from Noom?
If you have both a Noom Weight, Premium, or Med subscription and a Oxytocin Peptide subscription, these are billed as two separate charges — Oxytocin Peptide is an add-on program with its own cost and billing cycle, not bundled into your existing subscription price.
Can I cancel my GLP-1 Rx Program but keep Oxytocin Peptide?
Yes. Oxytocin Peptide runs on its own subscription, separate from your GLP-1 Rx Program, so you can cancel one without affecting the other. If you cancel your GLP-1 Rx Program, you’ll move to the Noom Free experience but keep your Oxytocin Peptide subscription (including your Care Coordination Team and clinician chat for that program). In the Noom Free experience you will no longer have access to your coach.
Instead of canceling your GLP-1 Rx Program, you also have the option to downgrade to Noom Weight or Noom Premium (which includes 1:1 coaching) while keeping your Oxytocin Peptide subscription.
Can I cancel Oxytocin Peptide but keep my GLP-1 Rx Program?
Yes. Oxytocin Peptide and your GLP-1 Rx Program run as separate subscriptions, so you can cancel Oxytocin Peptide on its own without affecting your GLP-1 Rx Program. You’ll keep your GLP-1 Rx Program experience exactly as it is, including your Care Coordination Team, clinician chat, and any coaching that comes with it.
To check your subscription details, and cancel or downgrade one or several of your subscriptions:
- Open the Noom app.
- Tap your profile picture (top left).
- Go to Settings > Manage Subscription.
