Fitbit is requiring all members to move their Fitbit accounts to a Google Account. This change is mandatory and, after February 2, 2026, Fitbit accounts that haven’t been migrated will lose access. If this update isn’t completed in time, your Fitbit will stop syncing with Noom, and you’ll need to reconnect your device.
What you need to do
To keep your Fitbit data syncing smoothly with Noom, please migrate your Fitbit account to a Google Account as soon as possible.
If you’re already using a Google account to access Fitbit, no action is needed. If you don’t see an option to migrate your account, it likely means you’re already using a Google account.
How to move your Fitbit account:
- Open the Fitbit app
- Sign in to your Fitbit account
- Tap Settings/Profile
- Select Move account
- Follow the on-screen instructions
The process only takes a few minutes, and you can cancel up until the final step if needed.

A few important things to know
- A Google Account is required (personal Google accounts only, not Google Workspace)
- You’ll keep your Fitbit history and data during the move. After February 2, 2026, you can no longer access Fitbit with your Fitbit account, and Fitbit will delete your data.
- Fitbit health data remains separate from Google Ads
- Once the move is complete, it can’t be undone
After you migrate
Once your Fitbit account is moved to Google, your device should continue syncing normally. If syncing stops at any point, you can reconnect your Fitbit in the Noom app by following these steps: https://www.noom.com/support/faqs/troubleshooting/syncing-and-compatibility/2025/10/connecting-devices-and-syncing-data-with-noom-ios/

If you are no longer able to access your account in order to migrate it, you may need to create or log onto a Google Account within FitBit then reconnect the device to Noom.
