Myles Johnson

Product Manager

Myles Johnson is a Product Manager at Noom, where he leads the company’s expanding work at the intersection of mindset, mood, and behavioral science. He is the creator of Mindful Art Break, Noom’s first digital art therapy feature — a groundbreaking initiative that combines positive psychology and neuroaesthetics to deliver measurable emotional wellbeing to users. To build it, Myles developed a proprietary AI art-scoring algorithm trained on over 20,000 public-domain works from institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Princeton University Art Museum, and The Art Institute of Chicago. Since launching in October 2025, the feature has reached over 200,000 users, with 73% reporting feeling more present and focused after each session and a 50% week-over-week retention rate. Beyond product development, Myles co-authored the largest art therapy research study of its kind — Art Breaks: Emotional Responses to Viewing Digital Art — currently under journal review. He also created and co-authored Noom’s Psychosocial GLP-1 Report, furthering the company’s science-driven approach to holistic health. Deeply curious about the science of human flourishing, Myles is passionate about finding novel, empirically grounded ways to boost psychological wellbeing at scale.
