Sermorelin is a compounded peptide that Noom clinicians prescribe to work with your body’s natural biology to support the processes that naturally change with age.
As we age, the natural biological processes that support muscle maintenance, recovery, and healthy body composition gradually become less active. This is a normal part of aging and can become more noticeable during periods of weight change.
Sermorelin can help support these natural processes by stimulating the pituitary gland to release more of the body’s own growth hormone. Because it supports your body’s natural production—instead of replacing it—Sermorelin is different from human growth hormone (HGH) therapy.
By working with your body’s existing systems, Sermorelin may help support lean muscle, recovery, and healthy aging.
Sermorelin is available as a standalone program or as an add-on to any Noom Free, Weight, Premium, or Med subscription.
What to Know
- Not everyone is eligible. Sermorelin isn’t available for members on a Telehealth for Branded Meds or Noom + HRT Rx subscription.
- There’s no in-app medication tracker for Sermorelin yet — you’ll follow the dosing chart and your clinician’s treatment plan instead.
Getting Started
- Open the Care Tab from the bottom navigation bar and scroll to the “Improve whole-body health” section to find Sermorelin Peptide (if you don’t see it, you may not be eligible).
- Complete the purchase and the medical intake, accessible from either the Today tab or the Care tab.
- Your clinician reviews your intake and, if you’re eligible, sends your prescription to the pharmacy.
- Your medication ships within 3–5 business days, and then every 4 weeks thereafter.
- Take your dose at bedtime, 5 nights a week, following the units shown on your dosing chart and your clinician’s treatment plan.
- After your initial renewal, you’ll complete a refill check-in every 12 weeks, alongside your subscription renewal.
Need to Know More?
Q: Can Sermorelin be used alongside a GLP-1 medication?
A: Yes. GLP-1s and Sermorelin are often used together to support different goals — GLP-1s for weight loss, Sermorelin for muscle maintenance and recovery. Your clinician will make sure your overall plan is safe and appropriate for you.
Q: Do I get a coach with Sermorelin Peptide?
A: Not on its own — Sermorelin Peptide by itself doesn’t include 1:1 coaching. You’ll get coaching only if you’re also on another Noom subscription that includes it, like Noom Premium or Noom Med. If your only subscription is Sermorelin Peptide, you won’t have a coach, but you’ll still have access to your Care Coordination Team and clinician chat.
Q: Why can’t I see Sermorelin Peptide in the Care tab?
A: If Sermorelin Peptide isn’t showing up under “Improve whole-body health” in your Care Tab, it likely means you’re not currently eligible. A few common reasons:
- Health history: Certain health conditions can also affect eligibility.
- Program type: It’s not available to members on a Telehealth for Branded Meds or Noom + HRT Rx subscription.
Q: Does updating my address affect all my shipments?
A: Yes — updating your shipping address applies to all of your active orders, not just one. If you only want to change it temporarily for a single shipment, remember to update it back afterward.
Q: Why am I seeing multiple different charges from Noom?
A: If you have both a Noom Weight, Premium, or Med subscription and a Sermorelin Peptide subscription, these are billed as two separate charges — Sermorelin Peptide is an add-on program with its own cost and billing cycle, not bundled into your existing subscription price.
Q: Can I cancel my GLP-1 Rx Program but keep Sermorelin Peptide?
A: Yes. Sermorelin Peptide runs on its own subscription, separate from your GLP-1 Rx Program, so you can cancel one without affecting the other. If you cancel your GLP-1 Rx Program, you’ll move to the Noom Free experience but keep your Sermorelin Peptide subscription (including your Care Coordination Team and clinician chat for that program).
Instead of canceling your GLP-1 Rx Program, you also have the option to downgrade to Noom Weight or Noom Premium (which includes 1:1 coaching) while keeping your Sermorelin Peptide subscription.
Q: Can I cancel Sermorelin Peptide but keep my GLP-1 Rx Program?
Yes. Sermorelin Peptide and your GLP-1 Rx Program run as separate subscriptions, so you can cancel Sermorelin Peptide on its own without affecting your GLP-1 Rx Program. You’ll keep your GLP-1 Rx Program experience exactly as it is, including your Care Coordination Team, clinician chat, and any coaching that comes with it.
To check your subscription details, and cancel or downgrade one of both of your subscriptions:
- Open the Noom app.
- Tap your profile picture (top left).
- Go to Settings > Manage Subscription.
