Noom Social Impact

How Noom is working together with charitable organizations to create a better, healthier world.

Noom: Project Donor

Noom’s mission is to empower people everywhere to lead better, healthier lives—and not just our members. We’re firm believers in transforming the industry from “sick care” to “health care.” One of the ways we’re doing this today is by partnering with organizations that equip people with the tools they need to become healthier for a bigger purpose—like Project Donor.

Project Donor works with organ donor candidates by helping them achieve donation eligibility on their journey to save a life. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Project Donor, offering complimentary Noom subscriptions to prospective organ donors whose weight excludes them from donation.

Over 40% of US adults struggle with obesity.*

There are a lot of factors we are exposed to on a daily basis that can contribute to obesity.

It’s a big reason weight management is so important to us. And now we’re working to expand our behavior change platform to help people with other chronic and non-chronic conditions—such as stress and anxiety, hypertension, and diabetes—and build a healthier world for all. To do this, we use the latest in proven behavioral science to empower people to take control of their health for good.

through a combination of

  • Psychology
  • Technology
  • Medicine
  • Human Coaching

Our platform has helped millions of users meet their personal health and wellness goals

It always comes back to helping people everywhere lead better, healthier lives.

And we couldn’t be more proud to partner with Project Donor for this incredibly important reason and more.

“Thanks to Project Donor and Noom I was able to reach my target weight for donation and lose 17 pounds in under 3 months. Achieving my goal meant not only was my body healthier, but I was also able to save someone else’s through my kidney donation. I am so grateful for the opportunity to donate and to positively impact someone else!”
