What you’ll learn:

  • Lemme Reset is a supplement that claims to support GLP-1, a hormone related to fullness and targeted by weight loss medications.
  • The supplement has three plant ingredients, but they don’t work the same as prescription medications.
  • It might offer a small boost, but only alongside habits like consistent nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management.

GLP-1 is a term most people know now, thanks to the rise of weight loss medications like Zepbound® and Wegovy®. It’s the hormone these drugs are designed to mimic—helping reduce appetite, slow digestion, and regulate blood sugar. And now that GLP-1 has become a household term, a whole category of supplements has grown up around the idea of “boosting” it naturally.

We’ve covered some of them before, including GLP-1 probiotics, weight loss patches, and weight loss gummies. Most make some version of the same promise: support the pathways associated with prescription GLP-1 medications, but without a prescription. One of the latest to catch on is Lemme Reset, a daily supplement from Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s brand Lemme, marketed as a way to support GLP-1 production, manage hunger, boost metabolism, and support weight loss when paired with healthy habits.

That framing matters because supporting your body’s own GLP-1 production is not the same as taking a GLP-1 receptor agonist medication. GLP-1 is a hormone your gut releases after you eat. Prescription GLP-1 drugs work by binding directly to GLP-1 receptors and activating them at a level the body can’t produce on its own—which is why they can lead to powerful, sustained appetite suppression.

So what’s actually in Lemme Reset, and does any of it hold up? Below, we go ingredient by ingredient, with input from Dr. Karen Mann, MD, Noom’s Medical Director, to help explain what this so-called GLP-1 supplement can and can’t do—and how it’s different from medications like Wegovy® and Zepbound®.

What is Lemme Reset?

Lemme Reset is a daily supplement from Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s wellness brand, Lemme. It originally launched as Lemme GLP-1 Daily before being rebranded as Lemme Reset, but the formula and GLP-1-focused marketing remain largely the same. According to the brand, the supplement is designed to support the body’s natural GLP-1 production, help curb hunger and cravings, and support fat management.

It’s important to understand what Lemme Reset is—and what it isn’t. The supplement does not contain GLP-1, nor is it a GLP-1 receptor agonist medication like Wegovy® or Zepbound®. Instead, it contains ingredients that have been studied for potential effects on GLP-1 levels, appetite, blood sugar, and body composition.

The formula includes three patented plant-based ingredients:

  • Eriomin®, a lemon peel extract studied for its effects on GLP-1 and blood sugar regulation
  • Morosil®, a blood orange extract studied for body composition and weight management
  • Supresa®, a saffron extract studied for appetite control and snacking behavior

Lemme Reset is taken as two capsules daily, and the brand recommends using it alongside healthy eating habits and regular physical activity.

The supplement is part of Lemme’s broader line of wellness products, which emphasize patented, clinically studied ingredients. The company also sells products such as Lemme Burn, a separate supplement marketed for metabolism support.

The ingredients in Lemme Reset and their connection to weight loss

The Lemme Reset formula highlights three plant extracts, each with some published research behind it. Here’s what each one does to potentially help with weight loss, what the research shows, and whether it makes a difference.

Eriomin®: Lemon flavonoid extract

Eriomin is an extract made from lemon peel, concentrated and patented for use in supplements. Researchers have studied it for its effects on blood sugar and GLP-1.

Two small randomized controlled trials in people with prediabetes found that taking 200 mg of Eriomin daily was linked to a modest bump in GLP-1 blood levels—17% in one study, 22% in the other. That’s a real and fairly consistent finding. But the details matter a lot here.

First, both studies measured GLP-1 after an overnight fast. Here’s why that’s significant: GLP-1 isn’t really a resting hormone. It’s released when you eat, as part of your body’s normal response to food—it signals fullness, slows digestion, and helps manage blood sugar. The relevant question is what happens at mealtime, and that’s not what these studies looked at.

Second, neither study tracked what happened after people stopped taking the supplement. So there’s no data on whether the GLP-1 bump lasts—or disappears the moment you stop.

And third, both studies were done specifically in people with prediabetes, who already have disrupted blood sugar regulation. Whether the same effect would show up in a generally healthy person trying to lose weight is an open question.

“When we see a study showing that an ingredient increased GLP-1 levels by a certain percentage, it’s tempting to connect that directly to weight loss,” says Dr. Mann. “But that’s not how it works. The studies showing meaningful weight loss with GLP-1 medications aren’t about raising GLP-1 levels—they’re about activating GLP-1 receptors at a different level than your body produces naturally. A modest increase in your own hormone production is a very different mechanism, and the data doesn’t tell us whether that translates to any meaningful difference on the scale.”

Morosil: Blood orange extract

Of the three ingredients in Lemme Reset, Morosil has the most research for its potential weight loss effects.

Morosil comes from Moro blood oranges, a specific variety grown in Sicily that’s rich in anthocyanins—plant pigments that have been studied for their effects on fat metabolism.

In a 12-week study of adults with BMIs between 25 and 35, those taking 400 mg per day of Morosil lost nearly 7 pounds on average, compared to less than a pound in the placebo group. Waist and hip measurements also decreased more in the supplement group. Both groups were following diet and exercise guidance throughout, so it’s hard to separate the supplement’s effect from the lifestyle changes—and with only 30 people per group, the findings are promising but far from definitive.

Lemme does use the same 400 mg dose as the study. But the small sample size and the lifestyle factor mean it’s hard to know how much of the effect is the ingredient itself.

Supresa: Saffron extract

Supresa is a patented saffron extract that claims to target serotonin pathways in the brain, which is how it’s thought to reduce the urge to snack and support a feeling of fullness.

Does it work? In an eight-week placebo-controlled study of 60 women with BMIs from 25 to 28, those taking 176.5 mg per day of Satiereal—a type of saffron extract—showed greater reductions in snacking frequency and body weight compared to the placebo group.

Keep in mind this was a small study conducted entirely in women using a different saffron extract than the one in Lemme Reset, so it’s hard to know how directly the findings apply—or how meaningful the snacking reduction is for weight loss in the broader population.

Does Lemme Reset work for weight loss?

The short answer is there’s no way of knowing without testing it directly.  Lemme Reset’s ingredients have some research behind them, but that doesn’t mean the supplement helps people lose weight. Here are some important things to keep in mind about the research:

  • The studies were done on individual ingredients, not this specific combination. Whether these three work together hasn’t been tested.
  • In almost every study, participants were also following diet and exercise guidance. It’s hard to separate what the supplement did from what the lifestyle changes did.
  • A measurable increase in GLP-1 levels doesn’t automatically mean weight loss. Knowing that a hormone level went up a certain percentage tells us less than it might seem, without knowing what that change actually does in the body day to day.

“These supplements might be somewhat helpful, but what often moves the scale are lifestyle changes. Even on a prescription GLP-1 medication, diet and exercise are still needed for lasting weight loss, notes Dr. Mann.”

How does Lemme Reset compare to prescription GLP-1 medications?

There is no comparison between a supplement like Lemme Reset and GLP-1 medications.  These drugs directly activate GLP-1 receptors, producing sustained appetite suppression, slower digestion to keep someone feeling full longer, and regulation of blood sugar.

Several trials have associated these medications with weight loss in large numbers of people. Semaglutide can help people lose an average of 18% of their body weight at the highest dose (Wegovy® 7.2 mg), and tirzepatide has been associated with an average of 21% at the 15 mg dose of Zepbound®.

No supplement—including Lemme Reset—comes anywhere close to those numbers. A supplement that has ingredients loosely tied to metabolic changes can’t work the same as a medication that’s designed to activate receptors directly. They’re doing fundamentally different things, and therefore have different results.

Is Lemme Reset safe?

For most healthy people, the ingredients in Lemme Reset appear to be well-tolerated in clinical studies at these doses. No serious adverse effects were reported across the trials. That said, a few things are worth flagging:

  • Eriomin has been studied for its effects on blood sugar levels, so if you’re on diabetes medications or anything that affects blood sugar, get a clinician’s sign-off before adding this.
  • Morosil is derived from citrus and is naturally acidic—some people report digestive side effects like heartburn or stomach discomfort, particularly if you have acid reflux or a sensitive stomach.
  • Supresa, the saffron-derived ingredient, the amounts are different from what you’d get in food. Saffron at high doses has been associated with GI upset in some people, though the doses used in these studies weren’t flagged for safety concerns.

The bigger issue is that some people try a supplement like this to self-treat a condition.

“My concern with supplements like these isn’t that the ingredients are dangerous—it’s that they can create a false sense of progress,” says Dr. Mann. “For someone who has obesity, type 2 diabetes, or cardiovascular risk factors, a prescription GLP-1 medication could meaningfully reduce their health risks. When that person spends months on a supplement instead of having a conversation with their doctor, that’s time and opportunity lost. The supplement isn’t the problem—the delay is.”

Frequently asked questions about Lemme Reset

Is Lemme Reset the same as Lemme GLP-1?

Yes—Lemme Reset was originally launched as Lemme GLP-1 Daily before being rebranded. Same formula, different name. It’s not a GLP-1 drug; it supports the body’s own GLP-1 production. That’s a completely different mechanism from how prescription GLP-1 medications like semaglutide (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) or tirzepatide (Zepbound®, Mounjaro®) work.

Does Lemme Reset help you lose weight?

The ingredients in Lemme Reset have real research behind them, but any effects are modest at best and depend heavily on healthy lifestyle changes. It’s also worth noting that the three ingredients have only been studied individually—there’s no research on whether this specific combination works better, worse, or the same as each one on its own. Every study showing results was done alongside diet and exercise. Lemme Reset is marketed as support, not a treatment, and that framing is accurate given the evidence. If you’re looking for weight loss in the range of what GLP-1 medications produce, this isn’t the right comparison.

Does Lemme have a GLP-1 supplement?

Lemme Reset is their GLP-1-focused product—it was originally called Lemme GLP-1 Daily, which is why people associate it so strongly with the hormone. It’s formulated with Eriomin, which has been studied for its effects on the body’s GLP-1 production. But it doesn’t contain GLP-1, and it doesn’t work the way a GLP-1 medication does. It’s not a substitute for prescription therapy.

The bottom line: Lemme Reset isn’t the same as a GLP-1 drug

Lemme Reset has some research behind it, but it doesn’t work like GLP-1 medication and isn’t a replacement for it. The GLP-1 framing isn’t just marketing—Eriomin does appear to support GLP-1 production in studies, and the Morosil has some interesting weight loss data. But supporting GLP-1 production and replicating what GLP-1 medications do are two very different things.

For some people, it might offer a small boost that helps with weight loss when it’s part of a bigger picture that includes consistent nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management. Those habits are what actually drive real, lasting change in the systems this supplement is trying to influence, and no capsule is a substitute for them.
