How dosing works
Your dose will increase every 2 weeks until you reach the maximum dose.
Important: You must check your weight and side effects before moving up a dose. See the instructions below:

Inject 5 units (0.05mg) once per week |
Weeks 3-4 |
Inject 10 units (0.1mg) once per week |
Weeks 5-6 |
Inject 15 units (0.15mg) once per week |
Weeks 7+ |
Inject 20 units (0.2mg) once per week |
* 20 units (0.2 mg) is the maximum dose.
** Vial concentration is 1mg/ml.

If you’re experiencing side effects
Manageable means they’ve gone away within 48 hours and aren’t impacting your ability to function. Mild nausea, headaches, fatigue, constipation, and diarrhea are common at higher doses and can go away over time.
Stay at the same dose and message your clinician
If you start experiencing unmanageable side effects
Unmanageable means they’re severe, prolonged, or significantly affect your ability to function.
Move to the next lowest dose and message your clinician
If you start losing more than 1 lb a week
Move to the next lowest dose and message your clinician
If you’re at your ideal or goal weight but continue losing weight
Move to the next lowest dose and message your clinician
Your BMI drops below 21
Move to the next lowest dose and message your clinician
Your BMI drops below 20
Stop your medication and message your clinician
