His professional background consists of mobile, web and application development from large companies to startups. While he's an active guy who enjoys a good workout or a long run, he also makes time to watch ample amounts of comedy, and plays guitar when the mood strikes. Chris Avgerinos
(Design Lead)
(Design Lead) attended the Ontario College of
Art and Design where he learned how to draw, design, program, and write in the third
person — a skill-set that allowed him to land exciting jobs in design, advertising and
tech companies. Quiet, and reserved, he reluctantly discusses his accomplishments, but
will gladly talk about his cat, Maui, that just the other day did the most adorable thing!
You should ask him about it.
Denise de la Rama (Office Manager) (Office Manager) received her BA in International Relations and Global Business from the University of Southern California. While spending time abroad, she traveled and ate her way through Europe. At Noom, Denise brings her masterful organization skills and enthusiastic startup attitude to the team. When she’s not going post-it crazy, you’ll be sure to find her brushing up on the Eater 38 or trying that new speakeasy.
JungMin Lee (Product Marketing Manager) (Product Marketing Manager) graduated from Providence College with a B.S in Biology (Music Minor) and spent three years as a research assistant in a biochemistry research that tested extended lipid hypothesis. She's presented her research at various conferences, and always thought she'd pursue a career in research. However, everything changed when she took a biochemistry-nutrition course during her junior year. The course not only deepened her interest in science but also explored the controversial issues that society is facing. At the time, she also worked as a Resident Assistant where she encountered students' eating disorders and self-image distortion. These experiences eventually inspired JungMin to earn a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition at Columbia University, where her program ranged broadly from the biochemical basis of nutrition to governmental health policies. Living in Manhattan also provided opportunities to interact with people of different backgrounds and to observe various lifestyles as they relate to nutrition and health in a complex urban environment. She believes Noom is a great way to motivate people to change their lifestyle and she focused on product marketing with our NoomKorea Team.
