We’ve discussed government campaigns to reduce obesity many times on our blog, and we’ve gotten a good deal of feedback from you guys, too. We thought you might be interested to hear that one study actually found most citizens are in favor of government interventions to fight obesity.
Gretchen Reynolds of the New York Times presented an interesting discussion on “healthy” and “unhealthy” fats. What we took away: Balance is more important than all-or-nothing rules. Diet research is a great resource, but nothing is a hard and fast rule.
While we’re at it, here’s another piece from Reynolds on the benefits of exercising outdoors. As it starts to get closer to spring here in NYC, we can’t wait to get back outside.
