This Week in Weight Loss News

The most controversial weight loss news this week (at least, here in the U.S.) was obvious: New York’s Mayor Bloomberg proposed a bill outlawing the sale of large sodas in an effort to fight obesity. And it looks like everyone’s got an opinion on it from bloggers and presidents to New York City business owners.
Similarly, Disney announced it would ban all junk food ads (the definition of “junk food” is left at their discretion) from shows targeted at kids.
A study of mice found that a naturally occurring ingredient in milk might help protect against obesity.
And this new weight loss trick might make portion control easier … but it could make for awkward dinner table conversation.
