Withings Scale Integration is Here!

We’ve just finished integrating with the Withings wireless scale, which makes keeping track of your weight incredibly easy. Every time you step on the scale, it almost magically transmits your weigh-in data over Wi-Fi, and starting today that data automatically shows in Noom. No more buttons to press and you never even have to open the app. Just weigh yourself and be on your way — Withings and Noom take care of the rest!

We’ve been using our Withings scale at the office for a while, and we love it. Sure, it can be easy enough to type in the data into Noom, but it’s so much more fun to have it done by magic. We found ourselves weighing-in more often, and being more excited to later open Noom and see the auto-updated weight graph. The scale can also measure your BMI, and multiple people can share it — you just need to create two accounts on it. Try it, we think it will make a real difference in your weight loss.

You can buy Withings either on-line (guaranteed lowest price of $159.00), or you can buy it from inside the Noom app, by clicking Update Weight and then selecting the Withings button (see below). Sure, it’s a bit expensive, but this will get a lot more use than that treadmill, and a more focused weight log has been proven to help weight loss.

We are incredibly excited to announce the release of a brand new way to achieve your weight loss goals. Introducing Noom Weight Loss, an all-inclusive way to track your weight loss goals, exercise and food intake with as single, easy-to-use application. If you’re a CardioTrainer or Calorific user, try out this new combined experience.

Noom: Weight Loss, Exercise, Food Tracking

When you open Noom, you’ll see three tabs for weight loss, exercise, and food tracking. All you need to do is set up your weight loss plan by choosing how much weight you want to lose, and how often you plan to exercise. Use Noom’s features to get reminders about upcoming workouts, track your exercise, record all of your food intake, and stay within your personalized budget.

For existing CardioTrainer and Calorific users, many of these features might look familiar, but now they’re conveniently integrated into a single application. You can import your CardioTrainer workout history into Noom by using the permanent accounts feature, and we’ll be adding a feature to let you migrate your Calorific data very soon.

Our goal is to make is as simple as possible to help you achieve your weight loss goals, and this is our first big step in that direction.
