1. What’s in the box?
Your box will include three delicious and nutritious recipes picked out by our nutrition team along with all high quality ingredients you’ll need to cook the meals. All you need to have handy is salt, pepper, and olive oil.
2. How long will the food stay fresh?
Your groceries will definitely stay fresh for the whole week. That said, we think it’s wise to go for the more perishable proteins first. So we suggest cooking fish/seafood first, any ground meat second, and anything else after that!
3. What days do you deliver?
Orders made before Thursday at Midnight will be shipped the following Tuesday. We deliver on Wednesdays (greater NY area) and Thursdays (Rest of the Eastern U.S.), and deliveries are made throughout the day, generally by 8 PM.
4. Do I have to be home to accept the box?
You should make sure to put down specific delivery instructions if you aren’t at home at the time of delivery — such as leaving the box with your doorman or on your doorstep, or to take it to your helpful neighbor. Or get your box shipped to your office or the nearest FedEx Location for pick-up.
5. Can I choose my meals?
Right now we don’t offer meal selection. We’ve picked three meals we think you’ll love based on healthfulness and calorie density. We may offer different choices in the future.
6. What makes these meals healthy?
We’ve worked hard to create satisfying, tasty recipes that are also low-calorie. In general, this means they’ll adhere pretty closely to the “ideal ratio” of green, yellow, and red foods. Each serving is typically 400-600 calories.
7. When is my box coming? What time of the day?
In Manhattan we deliver between 10am and 5pm with a courier service and the rest of the Eastern U.S. is covered by FedEx/PeriShip between 12pm and 8pm.
8. My Box has not arrived yet – Where is it?
In Manhattan we deliver between 10am and 5pm with a courier service (SelectExpress: 212-871-2575) and the rest of the Eastern U.S. is covered by FedEx/PeriShip (1-203-315-8637) between 12pm and 8pm. If you’ve received shipment notification from Noom, but have not received your package, you should contact the carrier more information regarding the exact timing of your delivery.
9. When/How do I pause automatic deliveries?
If you’re travelling or would like to hold your subscription for any reason, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org. In order to skip a shipment, you must let us know by the preceding Thursday at midnight.
10. When am I being charged for my box?
When you sign up for your first box you will be charged right away. For all subsequent deliveries you will be charged on the Wednesday before delivery.
11. What’s in my next box?
We will let you know what’s coming in your next box a week in advance through an email. For example, when your first box ships (this occurs on Tuesdays), we’ll send you an email notifying you of shipment, and we’ll also tell you what’s coming in the box after that. You will have until Thursday to skip that box if you don’t wish to receive the recipes we’ve selected for you.
