Happy Valentine’s Day!

Monday, February 14th, 2011

To help you burn off all of those calories from chocolate and candy,  we’ve released a widget application called Valentine’s Weight Loss. Place a box of chocolates on your home screen, and watch the chocolates disappear as you exercise!

After you’ve downloaded Valentine’s Weight Loss, press and hold an empty spot on your home screen to bring up a dialog. Select “Widgets”, then select “Valentine’s Weight Loss.” You’ll see the heart, and just tap on it to start keeping track of how many calories you’ve burned!

Just remember that in order to use Valentine’s Weight Loss, you’ll need to have our free application CardioTrainer to keep track of your exercise.

We are also releasing a bug fix release for CardioTrainer version 3.5.1 – this has some fixes for the Heart Rate monitor, and a lot of little things to make CardioTrainer run more smoothly and reliably. Check it out!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Calorific v2.0 available on the Android Market!

Friday, February 4th, 2011

We just released an update to our calorie tracking application Calorific with a completely refreshed interface. This update is designed to make it even easier to log your food, but also give you more detailed feedback about how well you’re doing throughout the day. Check the Android Market for the update right now, or click here to visit the Market and install Calorific from your browser. Here’s what it looks like:

Calorific’s updated dashboard, today overview, and logging screen.

On the home screen dashboard, you have everything you need to track your diet, including quick access to your calorie budget, your previous logging history and your settings. The big “today’s log” button takes you to an overview of today’s intake, organized by each meal. Tapping on one of the meals takes you to the new logging screen where you can quickly add new items. You’ll also see the “clear meal,” a feature that lots of users have been requesting.

Each of these screens also has some areas that can be expanded to provide you with more information about your day’s intake and the food categories:

The food hep menu and expanded info about your daily intake.

This is a big step for Calorific: there are lots of new features, but we’ve maintained the quick logging that sets Calorific apart from other calorie tracking applications.

Stay motivated with the Calorific widget!

This newest version of Calorific also includes integration with the Calorific widget (you’ll find it under Calorific’s settings). You now see your daily calorie budget, star rating, and percentage of green, yellow and red on your home screen. Tap on the widget to open the main Calorific application and log your food. A very nice companion to the CardioTrainer Widget!
